It is very important that when you look around for a breeder that it is someone you can
count on to be there for the life of your new companion.  We recommend that you do your
homework and have the knowledge that you will need to make the right choice for your
family.  We are in good standings with the
Golden Retriever Club of the UK, Golden
Retriever Club of America
and American Kennel Club. All of our puppies are evaluated
for each intented family so we match the right puppy to your needs, above we  have some
sites that you can go and get good information.  Pet Edge or Care a Lots is are wonderful
pet supply stores.    We recommend that your new companion  be put on a combination
diet, this consist of fresh fruits, veggies and raw meat (except pork).  We then recommend
a good nutritious kibble, one of the foods that we like is Wellness Dog Food.  Please go to
the site and read up on the ingredients. You have to be so careful about what you feed your
dog on a daily basis. All of our dogs go through health clearances, for hips we either use
BVA (Brittish Veterinary Association) they have to be a least 1 year of age, OVC (Ontario
Veterinary College) they have to be at least 18 months, or OFA (Orthopedic Foundation
Association) they have to be at least 2 years for their final registration, one of these three
methods is used for our dogs hips.  Our dogs are then screened for genetic eye diseases
with a Board Certified Ophthalmologists, this is done every 12 months.  We also screen our
dogs hearts for genetic defects through OFA after they turn 1 year.    We supply all of our
clients with a puppy packet of wonderful information as well as providing copies of  all of
their health clearances.  We are actively involved in taking continuing education through the
American Kennel Club and Canine Health Foundation Breeders' Symposium which we have
attended July 17,2004 and January 22,2005 held at North Carolina State University of
Veterinary Medicine, this helps keep us current on the health problems within our K-9
today. Some of the most informative speakers were Dr. Richard B. Ford DVM,MS,
Dipl.ACVIM a Professor of Medicine who informed us about over vaccination of our
companions he has developed a web-site  (
www.dvmvac.com) to help educated us for the
proper protocol on shots. Another wonderful speaker Rodney Page, DVM, Cornell
University on Cancer Therapy. he talked about some of the causes and genetic health issues
within the breed.  Also, Katherine Settle, DVM on Reproduction. One of the keynote
speakers was Claudia Orlandi, Ph D on the ABC's of Breeding and Genetics.  I would like
to thank the speakers, AKC and NCSU of Veterinary Medicine for their wonderful
contributions.  We believe keeping ourselves informed to better serve you and your needs.
If you have any further questions please contact us.  May God Bless and Keep You.    Teri

If we do not have any puppies available we have compiled a list of breeders who we think highly of,
through the years we have met some wonderful friends.  I am thankful that they have common beliefs
and are true caring individuals who love this breed as much as I do.  They are continuing to try and
better the breed and have stood behind their dogs.  We are very select on who we recommend but have
complete faith and confidence that they will be with you all the way. These companions are your children
for a very long time and we want you to know you have trusted breeders who will be there for the life of
your dog.
